Chef Allie’s Greek Chicken Gyro

A really easy and delicious dinner idea packed with flavor!

Greek Chicken Gyro

Serves 4 People


1.5 PoundsChicken Breast
DashSalt & Pepper
1 TspGarlic Powder
1 TspOnion Powder
1 TspDried Parsley
1 TspDried Dill
2 TspDak’s Super Greek Seasoning
1 TbspMinced Garlic
4Joseph Pita Breads
1 CupNon-Fat Greek Yogurt
1/2 TbspLemon Zest
1/2 TbspLemon Juice
1 CupGrape Tomatoes
1Red Onion
3Mini Cucumbers
6ozFat Free Feta (Athenos)
1/2 TspFresh Parsley


  • Preheat oven to 375F. Place chicken into an oven safe dish. Spray lightly with avocado oil. Season chicken with salt, pepper, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp Dak’s Super Greek seasoning. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165F. About 25-30 minutes. Set aside when done.
  • In a bowl combine the non fat greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp Dak’s Greek seasoning, 1/2 tbsp dried dill, 1 tsp dried parsley, salt & pepper (to taste).
  • Grate one of the mini cucumbers and squeeze as much liquid out from the grated cucumber and add back into the yogurt mixture.
  • Assemble pita with tzatziki sauce, chopped lettuce, chicken, thinly sliced onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, fat free feta, fresh parsley, and fresh mint.
