Chef Genie’s Thanksgiving Feast

To kickstart the holiday, Chef Genie was in the kitchen this week cooking up her very own Healthi Thanksgiving Feast! Each recipe was curated with our members in mind to keep them on track for the holiday!  Below you will find find an appetizer, main dish, and dessert that we just know your whole family will enjoy!

Harvest Salad

Serves 8 People

Ingredients

1 LargeApple
0.25 TspBlack Pepper
0.25 CupExtra Virgin Olive Oil
5 TbspPecans
2 OuncesReduced Fat Feta
1 CupOnions
1 CupGrapes
0.25 CupApple Cider Vinegar
1 TspSalt
10 CupsSpring Mix

Directions

  • To a large bowl, combine spring mix, thinly sliced grapes, thinly sliced apples, thinly sliced red onion, feta, and pecans.
  • In a separate bowl, combine apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  • Whisk well. Add the dressing to the salad mix; toss well and serve.

Air Fryer Turkey Breast

Serves 12 People

Ingredients

2 TspSalt
1 TspGarlic Powder
5 LeafsGround Sage
0.5 CupLight Mayonnaise
3 PoundsBoneless Turkey Breast Roast
0.5 TspBlack Pepper
1 TspFresh Thyme

Directions

  • Bring turkey to room temperature, and if your turkey comes with the netting, cut it off.
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, seasonings, and herbs. Coat the turkey with the mayonnaise mixture, being sure to get under the skin.
  • Place the turkey into a preheated 360F Air Fryer for 15 minutes and flip it every 15 minutes until your turkey reaches a temperature of 165F (for my 3 pound turkey it took 45 minutes). Rest the turkey for 10 minutes before slicing and then serve.

Apple Pie Rings

Serves 12 People

Ingredients

1 TspCinnamon
4 LargeApples
1 TbspSugar
1 CanOriginal Crescent Rolls

Directions

  • Core your apple, then slice it into 1/4 inch thick rings. Slice crescent rolls into strips and wrap the strips around the apple rings.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the cinnamon and the sugar, then take the apple rings and coat them in the cinnamon sugar.
  • Place them onto a baking sheet and bake at 375F for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brown and serve.
