White Castle Burgers

Serves 6 People

Ingredients

1 CupBeef Broth
1-1/2 PoundsGround Beef, 96% Lean
12 RollsOriginal Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1/3 CupOnion Soup Mix
6 SlicesAmerican Cheese Fat Free Singles
1/2 CupOnions

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 450F.
  • In a bowl, mix the beef, onion soup mix, and 2 tbsp beef broth.
  • Slice 12 Hawaiian rolls in half, making sure to keep them together. Do not separate rolls.
  • On a parchment lined sheet pan, shape beef into the roll shape. Make sure to have 1/2″ stick out (beef will shrink once cooked.)
    With the end of a wooden spoon, make a bunch of indents all over the beef.
  • Cover the beef with the chopped onions.
  • Pour remaining beef broth all around the edges of the beef on the sheet pan.
  • Cook for 10 minutes. Remove; drain as much juice as possible. Place onto the bottom portion of the buns. Add cheese slices and top with tops of the rolls.
  • Bake for 3 more minutes.

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine honey, olive oil, mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Set aside.
  • Add salad ingredients to a large bowl.
