Community Manager Jordan here. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve decided to complete a 30-day weight-loss journey. I’m using the Healthi app, AND I’m taking you along the journey with me LIVE!!

I wanted to take a moment to discuss why I volunteered to do this and the effect it has had on me so far.
The end goal will be to lose 10 pounds! I know, it sounds like a lot, but since I haven’t been in weight-loss mode for some time, I’m hoping that I will also lose some water weight!
As you follow along my 30 day journey, you will find ups and downs, what I am eating, and what is my WHY!
I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. It was in 2019, while at my heaviest weight of 280 pounds, that I first found out about this community. I began my first weight-loss journey during that year, and with much dedication to my health, I reached my goal weight of 224 pounds.
I gradually gained weight not long after that, and I could make plenty of excuses as to why I allowed myself to do so. Frankly, it came down to not having the drive to continue to maintain a healthier lifestyle. I found myself here recently weighing 265 pounds. A total of 41 pounds was gained. It was a humbling experience to step on the scale after so long and have to come to terms with the number displayed.
I allowed myself to undo something I fought so hard to achieve 3 years ago. I decided that my reason for regaining control over my health was greater than my excuses not to. So, with my wife, kids, and this community as a major motivation in my life, I began my second journey with Healthi to lose 10 pounds in 30 days.
The first person I sought advice from was Head Coach Lisa. Not only was she encouraging, but she helped me understand the plans that Healthi had to offer and which one would fit my lifestyle the best. Although I had lost weight on the Carb Conscience plan before, Head Coach Lisa suggested following the Conquer Cravings plan. This is an entirely new plan to me, but I am eager to see how well it works!
My lifestyle revolves around social eating. My family and I are constantly traveling, visiting with friends, and helping churches. This means that eating out is almost a constant in our life. It is not uncommon for us to eat out 3 times a week. This was a huge deciding factor in choosing Conquer Cravings.
Along the way, you will see how I navigate living healthier while being as real as I can be. I am excited to bring you along, and I am so grateful to have your support!
